A collision between two vehicles has escalated into a violent fight in neighborhood 13, Durrës.
Initially, an Audi vehicle with German license plates, in which an Albanian immigrant family was traveling, and a Volkswagen with Albanian license plates were involved in an accident.
After the argument between the drivers, the situation deteriorated, when the Audi driver was assaulted by a group of young men who intervened in the conflict.
As a result of the violence, he suffered a broken nose and a laceration to his ear, and was urgently transported to the Durrës Regional Hospital.
Fortunately, his life is out of danger, while the driver of the Volkswagen fled the scene and remains unidentified.
Numerous police forces have arrived in the area and are working to solve the incident, seizing security camera footage from surrounding businesses to identify the perpetrators of the violence.
