A 45-year-old man was shot in the leg during a conflict over weak motives. Thanks to the timely response of the Police, the perpetrator was caught and arrested within minutes.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Serious Crimes specialists, supported by the "Eagle" Special Force, immediately after receiving the notification that at the place called Dervishbeg Bridge, a citizen had wounded another citizen with a firearm, organized the work to identify the perpetrator and clarify the circumstances of the case.
Thanks to the timely response of the Police services, it was possible to identify, capture and arrest the suspected perpetrator, citizen IG, 39 years old, the owner of a service entity, who had conflicted for weak motives with citizen GH.
Police services were able to locate and seize the firearm, a pistol that he had with a permit.
Work continues on the complete legal documentation of the case.
The procedural materials will be forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Shkodra, for further action.
