Firearms and drugs seized, 33-year-old arrested in Përmet, with previous criminal records

As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained through operational channels, that a citizen with a criminal record was involved in several criminal activities, the services of the Përmet Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the services of the Këlcyrë Police Station, finalized the operation codenamed "Historiku".
As part of this operation, citizen KK, 33 years old, resident of Përmet, with a criminal record in the field of narcotics, was caught red-handed and put in handcuffs.
During a search of his apartment, 3 firearms (1 Kalashnikov and 2 rifles), 300 Cannabis seeds, a quantity of Cannabis suspected of being possessed with the intent to sell, as well as 4 combs and combat cartridges were found.
The weapons will be sent to the Institute of Scientific Police, to undergo expertise to determine if they were used in criminal events.
The procedural materials were referred to the Gjirokastra Prosecutor's Office for further action.
