Tirana police have finalized the operation codenamed "The Last", arresting 37-year-old YA, who is suspected of committing a series of thefts in the city, including the theft of skateboards, bicycles and a motorcycle.
The arrested citizen, who was previously convicted of theft, is suspected of using two 12-year-old minors to commit thefts and then taking the stolen items from them.
During the operation, during his search, the police found and seized a knife. The relevant materials have been submitted to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
The services of Police Commissariat No. 3, in continuation of their work to prevent thefts, uncover those that occurred previously and bring the perpetrators to justice, finalized the police operation codenamed "The Last", within the framework of which citizen YA, 37 years old, previously convicted of theft, was captured and detained.
This citizen, at different times and places, during February and March, stole 5 skateboards, 3 bicycles and 1 motorcycle.
During the investigation, it emerged that this citizen was exploiting two minors aged 12, who, after robbing them, were handed over to the 37-year-old.
Following the actions, during the physical search of the 37-year-old, a cutting tool (knife) was found and seized.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
