Specifically, the Department for the Protection of Minors in the Security Sector of Attica, has coordinated and implemented an extensive police operation on March 17-18, 2024 in Vyrona, Aigaleo and the square of Attica and Omonoia investigating cases that minor girls were forced into prostitution in hotels in the center of the capital.
As part of the operation, four citizens were identified and arrested, two women aged 25 and 21, and two men aged 54 and 25 on the charge of continuous human trafficking.
The 25-year-old woman, who is said to be at the head of this group, is also accused of drug trafficking based on the arrest warrant issued against her.
As stated in the indictment from the summer of 2023, the 25-year-old recruited seven minor girls, who had reached the age of 14, after having previously established a friendly relationship with them, facilitating meetings with clients, with the aim of sexually exploiting them. them in motels in the center of Athens.
The 25-year-old received part of the money from the meetings and often accompanied them to the meeting points herself. In some cases, instead of money, he gave the victims narcotics.
The two men, 25-years-old and 54-years-old, were involved in transporting and sending girls to hotels with their own vehicles.
