Nearly 4 years have passed since the sensational assassination at the Fushë-Krujë overpass, where well-known names in the criminal world, Brilant Martinaj, Diklen Vata and Besmir Hoxha, were executed with a hail of bullets. Meanwhile, it is learned that the police have managed to identify the citizen from Kosovo who is suspected of having brought the car used in the triple murder from Germany to Kosovo, which occurred on July 17, 2022.
The "Passat" type vehicle is said to have been brought from Germany to the state of Kosovo. In the testimony given to investigators, the person who brought the car stated that he left it to his father, who then sold it to another Albanian citizen, whose name he says he does not remember, reports journalist Elton Qyno.
From the investigations so far regarding the triple murder, it is learned that the same vehicle entered the territory of Albania on an unspecified date through several unidentified persons.
After the elimination of 3 people on July 17, 2025, the citizen from Kosovo is reported to have traveled several times in the "Passat" vehicle throughout Albania. During this time, he was kept under surveillance by the police to learn who he would meet with.
From the observations conducted, it is reported that the police have not detected any suspicious actions or meetings that could be related to the serious crime.
However, the Tirana police have decided to question the citizen from Kosovo. The person in question, whose name has not been made public to protect his personal data as the investigations about him are ongoing, has given explanations to the Tirana police, claiming that the car he brought from Germany to Kosovo was used in the elimination of Brilant Martinaj, Diklen Vata and Besmir Hoxha.
It is revealed that the vehicle in question was sold by his father, who is said to have sold it to a person from Albania, whose name the son and daughter say they do not remember.
The sale of the car carried out without a notarial legal act has raised strong suspicions that the movements were carried out with the aim of losing track of the person who took the vehicle.
After giving their testimony, the two men, father and son, were released by the Tirana police, and it is said that no charges have been filed against them so far.
The murder of Brilant Martinaj has remained at a "crossroads", as the Tirana Police and Prosecution have been unable to find the undocumented buyer of the car and the vehicle's entry into Albania.
While it is suspected that the "Passati" crossed at the Morina border crossing point in Kukës, not registering in the TIMS border system.
The vehicle has been fitted with the license plates "AA 156 OR" belonging to a "Daimler Chrysler" type car in the name of the citizen with the initials, AL, who in 2021 reported the theft of the license plates to the police.
