The wave of student protests has also been joined by students from the Faculty of Economics at the "Aleksandër Xhuvani" University in Elbasan, who have boycotted classes in protest.

Through this action, the students have chosen to express their dissatisfaction and solidarity with the protests taking place in the country.

Footage from the university shows empty auditoriums, while students have refused to participate in the learning process.

The boycott comes at a time when youth protests have escalated, following violent clashes between protesters and the State Police in Tirana.

The joining of Elbasan students in this wave of protests shows that dissatisfaction is spreading beyond the capital.

It remains to be seen whether other faculties will join the boycott, while the voice of students and their demands continue to be at the center of public attention.
