NATO and EU: Reduce tensions / Russia and Turkey issue accusations against
The whole world has its eyes on the Middle East, as the conflict that everyone feared in the region appears to have already begun.

World leaders reacted to Israel's attacks on Iran, calling for a reduction in tensions and a diplomatic solution.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called on allies, including the United States, to work to de-escalate the situation.

"This was a unilateral action by Israel," Rutte said.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz called on both sides to refrain from steps that could lead to further escalation and destabilize the entire region.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that stability in the Middle East must be a priority.

"Now is the time for restraint, calm and a return to diplomacy," he said.

French President Emmanuel Macron said France had consistently condemned Iran's nuclear program and confirmed its belief in Israel's right to defend itself.

Meanwhile, the Russian foreign ministry said that unprovoked military attacks against a sovereign UN member state, its citizens, peaceful cities and nuclear energy infrastructure are categorically unacceptable.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the attacks of Netanyahu and his network of massacres, which are setting our entire region and the world on fire, must be prevented.
