Trump: China wants a deal on tariffs, we are waiting for the call from Beijing!

US President Donald Trump is back with a new post on his platform, Truth Social, where he announces trade developments with China and South Korea. As he said, China wants to reach an agreement with Washington regarding the possible tariffs announced by the US.
"China also wants to make a deal, desperately, but doesn't know how to start. We await their phone call. It will happen!" the US president wrote.
At the same time, he revealed that he had a phone conversation with the acting president of South Korea, with whom they discussed a range of issues, from Seoul's trade surplus, tariffs and the shipbuilding industry, to the large American LNG market and the two countries' joint participation in the construction of a natural gas pipeline in Alaska.
He referred in particular to the US military protection provided to South Korea, for which – as he underlined – the relevant funding has resumed.
According to Trump, a delegation of top negotiators from Seoul is on its way to Washington and talks on a new agreement are progressing optimistically .
“Things are looking good, ” he said.
