Zelensky visits Saudi Arabia ahead of US-Ukraine talks to determine end to war

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Riyadh on March 10 to hold a meeting with Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

This visit comes a day before important talks between Ukrainian and United States delegations in Jeddah, talks aimed at helping end the three-year war with Russia.

The US, as Ukraine's main military backer, is seeking a swift end to the conflict, including direct talks with Moscow. This complicated process has included a suspension of military aid and intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

The talks between the US and Ukraine on March 11 will be formal since tensions between Zelensky and former President Trump's administration in the Oval Office, where after a clash, the Ukrainian president was asked to leave the White House.
