The body of 24-year-old Palestinian woman Rayyan Alwan, who was killed by her father, remains in the morgue. None of her family members have contacted the State Police to retrieve the body and perform a funeral ceremony.
The State Police is continuing contacts with their German counterparts, where information is being sought on the suspected perpetrator, Fadi Awlan.
It is believed that the perpetrator did not set foot on German soil, as his travel itinerary indicates a final destination of Lebanon.
As for the cause, the police have only raised suspicions based on the letters received from their counterparts, which indicate a conflict between the father and the daughter. According to the authorities, the suspected perpetrator has been reported to the police several times for domestic violence.
Albanian police say the serious crime is believed to have occurred on February 22nd, after Fadi Awlan was caught on camera leaving his rented apartment to go to the airport on that date.
From the examination of the body, experts say that there must have been a fight between the father and daughter, as the wound marks are about 15 cm deep.
Meanwhile, the police have also initiated communications with other authorities where the perpetrator has moved in order to identify Fadi Awlan's movements.
