"We want the release of protesters and an end to police violence", activist: We are not backing down! We are mobilizing for two national protests

Activist Sidorela Vatnikaj has called for the release of arrested protesters and demanded an end to what she describes as police violence during the protests.
For News24, Vatnikaj said that protesters were concerned about the way the arrests were carried out, noting that from the published footage, the number of police officers was greater than that of protesters.
" We want the release of the protesters and an end to police violence. They have been concerned because the arrests have been violent. I don't know if there are allegations of specific violence, but from the footage, the number of police officers has been greater than the number of protesters ," she said.
Vatnikaj declared that the protests will continue every day, until the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
" We will protest every day until Rama resigns ," said the activist.
According to her, the protesters are also demanding a change in the political class and the creation of a new political class. Vatnikaj warned of two national protests.
" The demand is also for a change in the political class, for a non-corrupt political class. The protest will continue every day. We will be there every day to demand Rama's resignation and the start of democratic processes. Monday marks 100 days. On Monday and Saturday we have two national protests and we expect maximum mobilization ," she concluded.
