They practiced prostitution on social networks, police arrest the tutor from Colombia and 2 girls from Brazil!

Two suspected cases of prostitution in Tirana have been cracked down on. 

A 46-year-old and a 21-year-old, both Brazilian, as well as a 23-year-old from Colombia, have been arrested.

According to the Police, the 46-year-old woman is suspected of using the 21-year-old woman for prostitution in a rented apartment on "Abdyl Frashëri" Street.

During the search of the premises, six mobile phones were found and seized, which were suspected of being used to advertise this activity on social networks.

In the other case, the 23-year-old Colombian woman is suspected of having rented an apartment on " Hamdi Sulcebe " Street, where she practiced prostitution.

Tirana/The operation codenamed "Last Post" is finalized. 

Two other cases of advertising on social networks, of practicing prostitution, were cracked down on, and the two rented apartments where this activity was carried out were discovered.

Two Brazilian and Colombian citizens are arrested for practicing prostitution. 

A 46-year-old woman who exploited the Brazilian citizen for this activity was also arrested. 6 mobile phones through which this activity was advertised on social networks were seized.

Following verifications, operational and investigative work, with the objective of ascertaining and cracking down on cases of prostitution in rented apartments, an activity which in some cases is advertised on social networks, specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Illicit Trafficking finalized the operation codenamed "Last post", during which 2 more cases in this field were cracked down on, resulting in the arrest of foreign citizens:

- LS, 46 years old and TS, 21 years old (both from Brazil), as it is suspected that the 46-year-old was exploiting citizen TS to practice prostitution in a rented apartment on "Abdyl Frashëri" street, where 6 mobile phones were found, which were seized as material evidence.

- MV, 23 years old (Colombian citizen), for allegedly renting an apartment on "Hamdi Sulcebe" street to practice prostitution.

Controls and verifications against this criminal activity continue on the ground and in the digital space. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana, for further action.
