Hollywood is honoring renowned comedian Catherine O'Hara, who passed away this Friday at the age of 71. The comedy icon, who left behind a distinguished career in film and television, has been remembered with love and emotion by her friends and colleagues.
Macaulay Culkin, who played Kevin in the famous film "Home Alone", shared a touching post on Instagram, calling the actress "mom".

O'Hara played Kate McCallister, the mother of Culkin's character Kevin, in the first two "Home Alone" films. The role was one of the most memorable moments of her career and one of the performances that endeared her to millions.
TMZ was first to report her death, but the cause of death has not yet been revealed. O'Hara was absent from the Golden Globes ceremony on January 11, where she was nominated for best supporting performance by an actress for her role in the Apple+ series The Studio.
