The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has reacted after the appointment of a former member of the DP Presidency as head of the National Tourism Agency, accusing Prime Minister Edi Rama of pursuing a policy of corruption of the opposition.
Asked about the appointment of the former secretary and former member of the DP Presidency, Berisha stated that, according to him, "the corruption of the opposition, the imprisonment of the opposition and its destruction are the main policies of the dictator Edi Rama."
He stated that, according to him, in this context there are individuals who are "sold and bought according to the government's market", but emphasized that the opposition remains determined in the face of the majority.
"I am sure that the opposition remains more determined and invincible than ever and is ready to do everything to remove him from power," Berisha declared.
During his statement, the leader of the Democratic Party also commented on developments in the Socialist Party, saluting, according to him, "those socialists who burned the documents of the criminal party", while adding that Edi Rama is "politically hopeless".
