Large influx of citizens from Kosovo towards the Albanian coast

The last days of August began with a large influx of citizens and vehicles from Kosovo towards the Albanian coast.
At the Morinë/Kukës Border Police Station, during Saturday, from 05:00 to 10:00, 24,408 citizens of Kosovo entered the Republic of Albania, with 8,592 small vehicles and buses.
The figures show a significant movement of Kosovar vacationers, who are heading to Albanian beaches for the last days of the summer season.
The flow of vehicles on the Kosovo-Albania border began in the early hours of the morning, and is expected to continue throughout the rest of the weekend.
As the end of August approaches, the Albanian coast continues to remain one of the main destinations for vacationers from Kosovo.
