New details have emerged from the testimonies given to the police by those arrested, following the murder of 20-year-old Portuguese Luis Miguel Varela Mendez in Ksamil, who was the victim of a conflict at a beach bar in Ksamil on August 18.
Among others, the accounts of Nuh Mahmutoglu and Ezgi Parlak, Turkish citizens who are currently in prison after attempting to help Sokrat Vata escape after committing the crime, have also been revealed. Vata, we recall, was caught in the trunk of the car in which they were traveling.
In his testimony, the Turk, Nuh Mahmutoglu, told investigators that he had received a phone call from Socrates, who told him that he had had an accident. "I put Socrates in the trunk of the car and on the way to Tirana, the police caught us," Nuh Mahmutoglu stated, among other things.

His other friends were also involved in the conflict, as well as the employees of the "Principotes" bar, where during the conflict he saw his friend Luis Miguel Vatela Mendez with his shirt covered in blood and the people who hit him ran towards the bar.
