The United States has not been able to prove that Serbia has withdrawn troops and military equipment from the border with Kosovo, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said Monday.
He emphasized that Washington continues to be concerned about the continuous increase in tensions and occasional violence in the north of Kosovo.
Earlier Monday, Serbian Army Chief of Staff Milan Mojsillovic said that Serbia has withdrawn some of its army troops stationed near the border with Kosovo after increasing the number of troops there following an attack by armed group against the Kosovo Police in the north of Kosovo./REL/
