She fought not to be separated from her son, but was brutally killed by her brother-in-law! Arlinda Zekaj warned of her death three days before the tragedy

A mother fighting to be near her son, a woman seeking protection, and a letter that today sounds like the final warning of a tragedy.

Arlinda Zekaj, who was killed on October 25 in Vitomirica, Peja, was facing a painful battle not to be separated from her son. But her dream of raising her child close to her was tragically cut short.

Just three days before she was killed, on October 22, she wrote a letter to the Basic Prosecution Office in Peja, requesting urgent intervention from the institutions and warning of the danger she was in.

" I hope the day does not come when you and the responsible institutions are forced to account only after my life has been taken ," she wrote.

Three days later, her words took on a tragic meaning. Arlinda was murdered, and her brother-in-law is suspected of the crime.

The lawyer who represented her confessed that Arlinda had begged her to do everything she could to help her, as life without her son made no sense.

The prosecution confirmed receipt of the complaint and stated that it had ordered its handling by the competent institutions.

Arlinda's murder raises serious questions about how her requests and warnings were handled, and whether more could have been done to protect her.

Today, a child has been left without his mother, while Arlinda will no longer be able to hug the son she fought for until the last days of her life. ️
