Massacre in Turkey, 8 killed and one seriously injured, suspected perpetrator of the attack arrested

A serious incident has shaken Turkey, where eight people have lost their lives and another has been seriously injured after several gun attacks in the Afyonkarahisar province.
According to preliminary information, the suspected perpetrator was randomly stopping vehicles on the road and shooting at the people inside them. Two teachers are reported to be among the victims.
The incident was revealed after security forces found the bodies of five people inside two vehicles in the rural areas of Ayazini and Kıyır.
Preliminary investigations suspect that the perpetrator, after leaving the initial locations of the attacks, continued his movement towards another area, where he shot and killed two other people with a shotgun.
The Afyonkarahisar Prefecture officially confirmed the tragic death toll of eight victims and one seriously injured.
After an extensive operation, the suspected perpetrator was arrested. Investigations are ongoing to fully clarify the circumstances and identify the victims.
The vehicles involved in the attacks have been removed by crane after forensic experts finished collecting evidence at the scene.
