Police fine 12 people for allegedly blocking traffic during protest in Tirana

Tirana Police have imposed 12 administrative measures against people who blocked the road and impeded vehicle traffic during the rally held yesterday afternoon on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard.
According to the official announcement, a fine of 5 thousand lek has been imposed on each of them, pursuant to Normative Act No. 5, dated October 28, 2026.
The blue uniforms indicate that the individuals have obstructed the movement of vehicles, despite repeated calls from police officers through megaphones to clear the road.
In conclusion, the procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
