Stock market fraud in Tirana/ SPAK and the German prosecution strike the "Bluenergycall" call center, 8 security measures are given

The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), in cooperation with the Bamberg Prosecutor's Office in Germany and the State Police, has executed 8 security measures against members of a structured criminal group operating through a call center in Tirana. The operation was conducted on September 9, 2026, as part of criminal proceedings no. 300/1, targeting the network that defrauded German and European citizens through fake investment platforms.

The Special Court has assigned different levels of security measures to the identified members of this network:

Arrest in prison (3 citizens): A.Gj., G.Sh. and EP, suspected of "Computer fraud" in collaboration and commission of criminal offenses within the framework of a structured criminal group.

House arrest (3 citizens): F.Gj., KB and IG, accused of participating and collaborating in the fraudulent scheme.

Obligation to appear at the judicial police (2 citizens): O.Gj. and Dh.L.

Joint investigations revealed that agents of the entity “Bluenergycall shpk”, headquartered at “Rruga e Kavajës” in Tirana, contacted foreign citizens, enticing them to invest their savings in fixed international stock exchanges. The victims’ money was sent to bank accounts opened in countries such as Bulgaria, Lithuania, Poland and Cyprus, and then disappeared through successive transfers or converted into cryptocurrencies.

The analysis carried out by the specialized cyber structure in Bamberg confirmed that the frauds were carried out directly through two IP addresses used by the call center in Tirana. This investigation follows the previous referral for trial of the owner and IT specialist of this entity, while the separation of the file enabled the identification of other network operators and collaborators.
