Analyst Enton Abilekaj, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, commenting on last night's DP protest in Tirana, stated that the opposition cannot be both in parliament and in protest, and this calls into question the seriousness of the protest.
"The opposition has no means, because it is not allowed to hold interpellations or investigative committees in parliament, but it is not allowed to go to parliament to ask permission from Peles to speak, even in protest. This duality is one of the contradictions that makes this effort serious. This is not done with Molotov cocktails, but with silence. Not with firecrackers or Molotov cocktails, even though the police hit us.
We say we will take our fate into our own hands, but why do they come out with German flags, or make a statement against Rama? The German Embassy then comes out and says that it was not a peaceful protest. These thoughtless things characterize the opposition protest.
"They started with American flags, because Rama was not going to America, then with Germans. This is where the line is not crossed. There is no continuity, there is a line here and the only one for this is the opposition. These things drive people away," said Abilekaj.
