Ervin Salianji challenges Berisha: On May 23, I will run for president of the DP

Former DP MP Ervin Salianji declared on the "Opinion" show that on May 23 he will run in the elections for DP chairman, challenging Sali Berisha in this electoral race.

Salianji has stated that with the current situation, the DP cannot win the elections against the SP.

"I will definitely run, I will be in the race on May 23. I have had a round of meetings and expressed the concerns that the Democrats have and there has been a division of opinions. I have not dealt with Berisha or anyone else. I have dealt with the concerns that the Democrats have about making the DP a winner, the DP as it is, is a party that cannot win. I have had no concerns with Berisha and no conflict," said Salianji.
