Berisha: The separation of powers was violated in the Constitution, yesterday

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, today focused on recent developments in justice, stating that the principle of separation of powers has been seriously violated in the Constitutional Court.

During a meeting with the youth of the FRPD, Berisha described yesterday's session on the suspension of Balluk as one of the darkest in the history of the Albanian state.

According to him, what happened at the Constitutional Court was an unprecedented scene, where representatives of the Prime Minister's Office, the Presidency, and the Assembly faced a prosecutor, in a process that he described as devoid of law and based solely on political interests.

"Today, if his father, in that totalitarian dictatorship where the constitution prohibited dissent, would hang his political opponent for writing verses about freedom, today their bastard named Edi Rama imprisons the leaders of political parties in an election year. In this dictatorship, all power is concentrated in one hand. Never forget yesterday. An unprecedented day in the history of a state. A day in which the representatives of the head of state, the prime minister, the head of parliament, faced a prosecutor who made the law.

I have never seen more shocking scenes. There is no more shameful day in the history of the world. When a prosecutor in the name of the law has decided to summon the investigator before the law, to suspend the deputy prime minister on the basis of 1000 facts to answer before the law. Where the name Belinda is, the name Edi Rama is, now everything must end at her feet.

There was no more unprecedented scene, where representatives of the prime minister, the president, and the parliament appeared one after another in front of zero law, except for the morality of the thief. There is Edi Rama. Without the separation of powers, there is never any system other than dictatorship. Prosecutors and judges make mistakes, this also happens in the USA.

"These people lined up to protect a thief, who I tell you absolutely has her signature and black hand in every tender that goes to billions of euros for herself and Edi Rama. You gather here today where 700 thousand Albanians have left in Schengen alone. We as a nation are under absolute existential threat. After 50 years, Albanians are considered an erased nation," said Berisha.
