Berisha promises a flat 10% tax on income: VAT will drop to 15%. Zero taxation for freelancers and small businesses

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has presented his economic and fiscal plan to reduce VAT and taxes on domestic production and entrepreneurship.
Berisha has pledged to return the 10% flat tax on income. The leader of the DP has stated that the flat tax will be imposed at 10% on income and not on salary. According to him, there will be: “Zero taxation for freelancers and small businesses. Annual ceiling for zero profit tax for small businesses”
"The number of different tax rates will be reduced. A flat tax of 10 percent will be imposed on capital, on income from work, with the exception of the first 50 thousand lek, which will not be taxed. A flat tax of 10 percent on non-salary income. Zero taxation for freelancers and small businesses. The annual ceiling for zero profit tax for small businesses. The VAT exemption limit will be 18 million lek of annual turnover. VAT will be reduced to 15 percent, the 20 percent taboo will disappear. The infrastructure impact tax will be reduced from 18 percent of the sales price to 2 percent of the budget," Berisha said.

So today I am presenting to you once again the complete Made in Albania program, the program that aims to promote production in Albania, to ignite the engines of production that are dying out, falling unstoppably from year to year.

Or by turning apartments into forbidden apples.
Not only that, but this has a very strong impact on rents. And in the country with the lowest wages in Europe, rents are at their highest levels.
We are fundamentally changing this situation. The 3 percent social housing tax on the sales price is abolished. It will not exist.
"The 1 percent development permit fee on the investment value is abolished. The property revaluation fee will be reduced from 5 to 1 percent," Berisha said during the presentation of the plan.
