"Prison, a school for me" Meta's confession from the cell: Rama worked behind my back with the Justice Reform

Former President Ilir Meta has given an exclusive interview from his detention cell for the show "Off the Record" on A2 CNN with journalist Andrea Danglli, where he spoke about life in prison, political clashes with Edi Rama, Justice Reform, SPAK, the opposition and the accusations against him.
Meta stated that he is innocent, while making strong accusations against the government, former DP leader Lulzim Basha, and justice institutions.
"A big game was played", Meta on Justice Reform: I hope SPAK returns to God's path!
Meta accused former DP leader Lulzim Basha of handing over Justice Reform to Edi Rama with "his games" and the help of former US official Charles McGonigal.
"It's not that I didn't expect the manner of the arrest. I was aware of this coup, that laws would be made on the Constitution."
It's not the fault of the 140 votes, the problem is with the unconstitutional laws. Those 140 votes were cast by Ilir Meta alone, and Ambassador Lu has also admitted this.
"It was a big game not to approve the reform by consensus, but to use it as a moment to divide the DP ," Meta said.
"Rama has been a wise lamb. He is a scorpion, I am an eagle"
Meta also spoke about his relationship with Prime Minister Edi Rama, saying that he has known him for years and that his change came after he took full power.
" I know Mr. Rama. Rama was very wise when he was a minister, when he was a subordinate, and even when he was prime minister in a coalition. He came to Parliament every day at 10:00. Until he corrupted Luli and took all the powers, revealing his true face ," Meta declared.
"The 30-year-old opposition should be twice as active as Berisha!"
The former president emphasized that opposition youth should be more active in the political confrontation with the government.
" Everyone should be like Klevis Balliu on the front lines of the battle. Everyone should be like Tedi Blushi on the front lines of the battle. These 30-year-olds should be twice as active as Sali Berisha ," said Meta.
He also mentioned Adriana Kalaja as an example of oppositionism for her continuous complaints to SPAK.
"What will you say to Rama when you meet him face to face?", Meta's confession from prison
Asked what he would say to Rama if he met him face to face, Meta said that he does not avoid anyone and that he feels "open-minded" in front of citizens.
" I face anyone and I neither change my path nor lower my eyes. I will always be open-minded in front of Albanians because I have defended the national interest and democracy for me is a national interest ," he declared.
"I am innocent. Give me an accusation?!"
Meta stated that he does not bear criminal responsibility for his associates and that responsibility is individual.
"I am innocent, not just because I declare it. Tell me one fault of mine, one episode, one accusation, and I will give you an answer ," he said.
Asked about his collaborators, Meta added:
"I do not share any opinion regarding legal or criminal liability for anyone, only for Ilir Meta. "
"Here's what I asked Klodian Brahos"
Meta also spoke about the letter he sent to SPAK head Klodian Braho, clarifying that he did not accuse him of concealing evidence.
"My letter is public and very correct. It is addressed to him not to accuse him of concealing evidence, because he is not the prosecutor in my case ," Meta said.
