DP Presidency member Grigels Muçollari has announced through a status on social networks that he will run on May 11 on the open lists of the Democratic Party.
Muçollari writes that to overthrow the government, one must fight for every vote and fight only on an open list.
Also, Muçollari says that debate is part of the DP and the day there is no debate, there will be no Democratic Party.
" Why did I choose the open list?
Today, at the meetings of the DP Presidency and the National Council, the team of DP representatives for the May 11 elections will be finalized. It is only one of the stages, as the Democratic Party is already in this battle everywhere with its people, its structures in every section, group section and branch. There is attention, there are expectations and there will definitely be debates.
Thank God, the DP has the debate as its asset. The day there will be no debate, there will be no more DP. Here we are very different from our opponents. I myself have made it known earlier, and I have even communicated this position to the Party Chairman, before the primaries process, and I stand by this principle: I will be on the open list. This is a vital moment for the country, for society, for the DP. Then everyone's career comes into play. Albania needs a change of government. For change to come, we must fight for every vote. Every vote is fought for only on the open list," writes Muçollari.
