The hearing for the Incinerator in Tirana was held today in the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.
In his statement before the black squads, former minister Lefter Koka declared that he is innocent and the victim of a political attack by former prime minister Sali Berisha. Also, Koka has apologized to the former officials of the ministry who have been charged. He said that they are in court because of him.
" I apologize to all the staff if they are here because of me. They have done the best they could.
The accusations were raised on the basis of political and media opinion. I am a victim of Saliu and the small party. Condolences to all of you (persons who have been accused in the files he is a part of)" , said Koka.
