Veliaj's defense, Shehaj: Absurd that the artists' elite justifies someone accused of corruption by SPAK

A large number of artists and well-known showbiz personalities have publicly expressed their support for the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj. Agron Shehaj, chairman of the "Mundësia" Party, invited to the "Të Paekspozuarit" show on MCN TV, said that it is a major problem that some Albanian artists today morally justify a person accused of corruption by SPAK.
"No one is impressed, or at least very little, that the artistic, cultural and sports elite, as well as well-known public figures, take the side of someone who is officially accused of corruption by SPAK, and no one is impressed."
This is a very big problem for society, because these individuals, in a way, morally justify those who are accused of committing theft.
"It often happens to me that I have spoken about corruption and have debated with journalists who defended the corrupt. Those who have followed us have said that it is normal that these five have justified the theft," said Shehaj.
