"From Dritëro Agolli's parliament to Zegjine Çaushi's...", Elmaz Sherifi: In the SP there are "dumb soldiers" lined up by Rama

Former socialist Elmaz Sherifi, speaking in an interview with "Oponencë", said that he feels pain when he sees today's parliament and the new arrivals in the Socialist Party, bearing no resemblance to the composition of the parliament in the first years of pluralism in Albania.

Sherifi said that from Dritëro Agolli's parliament to Zegjine Çaushi's, there is no comparison between the former parliaments because today, according to him, there are dumb soldiers lined up by Rama.

"Rama is not to blame. He tells them openly that without me you are nothing. And it seems that they are nothing. But they care about what we get, what we harvest, what we benefit from. They do not see the interests of the people who in 2026 have their eyes on Europe, they are in a hurry thinking about where they will go," said former socialist MP Elmaz Sherifi.

Elmaz Sherifi: There is no comparison to the former parliament, it makes me feel pain. Nano's famous KPD was criticized a lot and they did not introduce its essence of democracy as developed, but things were said openly there. Now the towers have been closed and there is only one voice.

I have called that political elite that I am exaggerating, I am telling you this, all those determined people who are there, I have called dumb soldiers who are determined to accept his status. It is not Rama's fault. He tells them openly, that without me you are nothing.

And it seems they are nothing. But they care about what we get, what we harvest, what we benefit from. They don't see the interests of the people who in 2026 keep their eyes on Europe, are in a hurry thinking about where they will go.
