Barcelona launch move for Inter defender

Barcelona have decided to move now in the transfer market to build next season's squad, placing Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni at the top of their wish list.
According to Spanish media reports, with the approval of coach Hansi Flick, the Catalan club's management is working to secure the services of the Inter central defender. The new sports project seems to see Bastoni as a key element to strengthen the defensive department.
In this context, sports director Deco has traveled to Milan, where he has held meetings with the player's representatives. Bastoni is going through a difficult moment at Inter and does not rule out a departure at the end of the season, despite the contract that binds him to the black and blue club until 2028.
However, to finalize the operation, Barcelona must find common ground with Inter, who still hold the defender's card and are expected to set strong conditions for his transfer.
