Artist Gjesti, the winner of Big Brother VIP Albania, was arrested for three criminal offenses. He is suspected of entering the premises of the music company "Onima", and committing the criminal offenses of "Threat", "Destruction or damage to property" and "Unauthorized ownership, control or possession of weapons".
On the show "Kosova Today", the artist's lawyer, Burim Azemi, provided details about Gjesti's case and his relationship with this company.
"The distribution contract that Gjesti signed with Onima is dated June 2023, and had a duration of two years, which meant until June 2025. The contract could have been automatically terminated if a 90-day notice was given," the lawyer said.
"When we go back, at that time Gjesti was on Big Brother, and in Big Brother it was impossible for him to give 90 days' notice. But Gjesti, before entering Big Brother, officially notified Onima that he did not want to continue with it. Both Gjesti and Gjesti's parent. The contract was continued against Gjesti's will."
Recall that Gjesti was released from detention on March 19, on the birthday of his late brother.
