Weather worsens, Vlora-Brindisi ferry departure canceled, small vessel navigation suspended

Unstable weather conditions are expected in the country tomorrow. Moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected to hit the main regions of the country, including Vlora.

As a result, it is announced that the ferry on the Vlora-Brindisi-Vlora line has canceled its departure and arrival at the Port of Vlora for the following day.

The navigation of small and fishing vessels outside the Gulf of Vlora has also been prohibited, from 06:00 on March 26 to 06:00 on March 27.

Meanwhile, international maritime transport ships will continue to operate normally according to their respective destinations.

Improvement in conditions is expected after 06:00 on March 27, 2026.
