On the show "The Unexposed", the political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, Lulzim Basha, declared that he stands strongly with the United States of America, describing it as the most important ally of Albanians wherever they are. He expressed pride in his decision towards Berisha, emphasizing that the partnership with the US must remain intact.
Basha said that the Euro-Atlantic Coalition, together with the US, will continue to support SPAK and the fight against impunity.
"I choose the USA, because unlike what the old Albanian communists presented to us, I never think that the USA is "a third-rate agricultural cooperative". But it is a more consolidated state in the way it makes decisions. I have supported and still support the USA today. It is not in my hands what decision the USA makes in relation to Mr. Berisha, in relation to Mr. Rama. Nor is it in my hands whether this decision is made or not made by one administration or another, for me and for people who think like me, it is important that the partnership with the USA remains intact. And for this I will bring to your attention a statement by a European stateswoman, who many consider the most quoted in Europe, Prime Minister Xhorxha Meloni, who two weeks ago, on Friday, declared and was the headline in every European newspaper, perhaps making some people feel bad, saying: "Italy has no more important ally and will never have a more important ally than the USA".
When Italy says this, Germany says the same, these countries have no idea, nor can they even think of having another ally. Albanians know from Albania to Kosovo, to North Macedonia, wherever they are, we have no closer friend than the USA. This is what Gjorxha Meloni says, this is what Boris Johnson says, this is what Starmer says, this is what every European prime minister says. The donkeys that we will face with the USA for anyone's personal fate, sell it to someone else. I made the right decision and I am proud.
"We will accelerate the EU membership process, because the US, unlike what Edi Rama said, has not left SPAK, they are there and will support SPAK to end impunity," Basha said.
