Strong clashes at the SP Assembly in Fier, socialists attack Balluk, Rama defends him
The assembly of the Socialist Party of Albania for the Fier region, held at the Bylis Theater, was accompanied by strong tensions and debates between socialists and political leaders.
At the focus of the clashes was the political leader of the district, Belinda Balluku, who faced direct criticism from ordinary party members.
One of them, an employee of the Albpetrol company, accused Balluku of firing socialists and replacing them with supporters of other parties. Balluku denied this, saying: "Let me say openly in front of all the participants here in the assembly why you left?" At this moment, Rama intervened, claiming that you left these debates.
The debate became tense to the point that Prime Minister Rama had to intervene, who requested an end to the heated discussions, sources within the assembly claimed.
There were also clashes between representatives of the Cakran area, who expressed dissatisfaction with the party's leadership, declaring that 'it is no longer the Socialist Party it used to be', but a structure with narrow interests.
During the open discussions, the atmosphere in the Assembly of the Socialist Party of Albania for the Fier region became significantly tense.
According to sources inside the meeting, a good part of the hall was filled with institutional leaders and Balluk supporters from Tirana, Fier MPs, while a small space was reserved for Fier socialists.
