"In my opinion, the first point is the presence of many foreign ambassadors. The presence was to demonstrate the level of great interest that our European and American partners have in SPAK. There are many dilemmas here that have left SPAK alone, that no one supports it anymore and those who are subjects of investigation, exponents of drug cartel crime and corrupt politicians are eagerly waiting for it. I consider it a show, that is, simply to show interest in the eyes of the Albanian public.
The evidence is that the Americans have already demonstrated their preference with a gesture the first time and they have demonstrated it again with a gesture. There are many dilemmas, now I do not believe there is a dilemma that the Americans will continue to support the new justice system and SPAK, or that they will abandon it with the new administration.
We have evidence that support is the same as it was, and it's even a little more visible because these Republicans are a bit of a cowboy by nature.
There is a perception, which is a real perception, that SPAK, although it has been consolidated, strengthened, has achieved some results, especially in these three years, because the first three years it did not have a building, is still threatened, it is under permanent threat.
There is an infrastructure that is both media and political, because there is a conspiracy of the corrupt and criminal to dismantle SPAK, to leave Albania without this instrument.

I think that the KLP members have an idea of who the candidates are, looking at their work, the balance of 3-year work, the files, the issues they have investigated, the efficiency they have shown in investigating the files and this is the real competition.
I think all four candidates deserved to be elected, because they passed, that is, several filters and analyses.

But one person will always win, and the one who clearly had a preference for the Americans won, also for what has to do with the priority they have, which is the fight against drug cartels, corruption, organized crime, dirty money that are slowly destroying competition in Albania and consequently democracy," said Zogaj.
