Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed", spoke about the election of the new head of SPAK, Klodian Braho.
Lala said she was dissatisfied with the questions that KLP members asked the candidates.
"The first thing that worried me was the level of questions from the KLP. Mr. Stojani, one of the longest-serving prosecutors, did not ask any questions today."
Being among the most active members, I had expectations that they would ask questions about the essence, the way the candidates would lead SPAK, questions about the problems the institution has, so that it is not tied to names, but rather carries out criminal prosecutions uninfluenced and independently.
I didn't hear these questions and to be honest, some of the members have the necessary capacity and I didn't understand why they remained passive today.
What we felt, all four candidates, in the first moments were tense, had emotions, they are facing public opinion a little and are not used to the media. The presence of international factors, all the representations were there, their presence was an added dose.
Meanwhile, whatever was meant there, most of the council members were not included in the discussion.
"This process should be made transparent and public. They unveiled platforms, gave their ideas. There were interesting moments, about the way they saw in relation to political pressure, the possible impacts ," said Lala.
Regarding the new head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, Lala said that he has a long career and has investigated sensational files.
"Mr. Braho is engaged in issues related to corruption, his priority will be the fight against corruption.
Mr. Braho graduated from the Magistrate's School with a medal, headed the Prosecution Office of Berat, Vlora. He investigated the Gjika rescue, several property issues. He investigated in the Serious Crimes Prosecution Office, headed the anti-corruption section. In SPAK, he investigated the 5D affair, from which the Veliaj case derived, he had the Toyota Auris, one of the main tests for him, since it was about his colleagues. He also has a number of organized crime cases, but he specializes in corruption investigations, unlike Xholi and Musabelliu, who are more specialized in organized crime , "declared Lala.
