The fall of the communist system, Berisha: I had not planned to enter politics

In an interview on the show "Opinion", the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, "went back in time" to talk about the movements of 1990 that separated two eras, the end of the communist system and the laying of the foundations for the democratization of Albania.
The leading democrat says that despite his commitment to this movement, he had never previously planned to have a political career, although years later he is one of the people who has most dominated Albanian politics over the years.
"I had not planned a future political career. I did not think there would be any changes, but I had decided to do what I considered vital for my dignity. I did not work for politics. Every foreign delegation that came, we asked to meet. But for me, they had an answer: he is not available, it is an official answer from the Foreign Ministry. I met the congressman with Grams Pashko. Gramos was open. I asked to meet Gramos after the interview on Voice of America, our first meeting was at the Dajtin Hotel", said Berisha.
