In December 1989, Nicolae Ceausescu was shocked to see a crowd of over 100,000 people, summoned to a mass meeting in Bucharest, begin to disrupt it. He was convinced that the people were not against him, he was convinced that the people loved him, he was convinced that the regime he had set up not only did not have the people's anger, but was even liked by them.
It happens with many bad politicians, who gradually, without even realizing it, build a narrative, a fable, an explanation for what they are doing and start to believe it. Their dependence on power leads them to slowly detach themselves from reality, since recognizing or accepting reality would call into question power.
Power, for its part, has only one nature: it tends to grow in order to survive. This growth cannot be stopped. Thus, bad politicians enter into an intimate relationship with power, and it is not known where one begins and the other ends.
For this reason they always think, they must think, that people agree, even love and appreciate these politicians. There are cases, many cases, when they even think that it is the duty of the people to love them. In some cases they see themselves as saviors, as liberators or achievers of the destiny of the people and the country.
Because of the need for power, which seeks to grow, and because of the need of these politicians to realize or "create" themselves through this power, the boundaries of law and justice disappear or are constantly blurred; the boundaries of self-restraint, reason, and morality are lost.
The government and they become neutral towards such categories. Governance will certainly go wrong, injustice will certainly worsen the situation, people's dignity will be trampled on.
The situation will become unbearable and, at a moment when circumstances allow, it will explode. This happened to Ceausescu, this has happened to many, many bad politicians. This is happening to Prime Minister Rama.
Prime Minister Rama has built a governance model that is not based on respect for the law and justice, calling them obstacles; he has built a governance model that is centered not on people, families and children, but on himself and certain people in business or some other field.
This has made the country an almost dystopian space, where the powerful and injustice, extreme hardships in making a living, drug money and Orwellian propaganda want to convince people that Albania is a wonderful case of success. There comes a point and it doesn't hold. Humiliation is an extraordinary reactive force.
Rama ndërkohë nuk e beson, nuk e pranon, nuk mund ta pranojë. Ai nuk mund të pranojë që të gjitha këto vite ishin kot, që gjithë kjo energji totale në ndërtimin e këtij mekanizmi, të kësaj qeverisjeje, gjithë kjo rropatje me biznesmenë dhe kriminelë, me ndërkombëtarë dhe media, përfundon kështu.
Një nga avantazhet e kryeministrit Rama në politikë ka qenë se ai nuk e ka pasur shumë të zhvilluar stilin paranoidal. Siç thotë Harold Lasswell, politikanët (sidomos të këqijtë) janë dy llojesh, zhvillojnë dy stile. Njëri është paranoidal dhe tjetri narcisoid. Me këtë nuk duam të themi, as Lasswell nuk e thotë, që duhet parë në këndin e psikologjisë apo psikanalizës kjo gjë, por vetëm në atë politik. Rama ka zhvilluar, ka ndërtuar stilin narcisoid.
Stili paranoidal ecën me armiq, sheh kudo armiq, sheh komplote, sheh konspiracione. Politikanët e stilit paranoidal, thotë Richard Hofstadter, nuk i besojnë askujt, rrethohen nga njerëz servilë dhe injorantë, nuk i qasin të diturit dhe ekspertët. Ata për çdo gjë fajësojnë armikun e brendshëm apo të jashtëm, por për çdo dështim është armiku.
Politikani paranoidal ka qëllim të mbrohet dhe të mbajë pushtetin me çdo kusht. Ata i rrahin dhe mund t’i vrasin kundërshtarët e brendshëm. Ata mospranimin që u bën shoqëria e shfaqin duke folur për konspiracione, për armiq, për të shitur e për të blerë. Ky është një reagim nga mospranimi i njerëzve dhe i popullit.
Rama, ndryshe nga disa politikanë të tjerë të rëndësishëm në Shqipëri, nuk ka qenë tamam ky lloj politikani. Politikani i stilit narcisoid nuk sheh armiq domosdoshmërisht. Ai edhe mund të rrethohet dhe rrethohet nga njerëz ekspertë ose të ditur; ai i pyet ata dhe mund t’i dëgjojë pa asnjë problem ata, në qoftë se ajo që ata thonë i bën punë.
Politikani i stilit narcisoid ka vetëm një qëllim: glorifikimin e tij, shfaqjen e tij si një yll që ndriçon, ndërtimin e lavdisë së tij. Çdo gjë që e ndihmon për këtë gjë (nuk ka kufij moralë, etikë apo ligjorë) është e mirë dhe ai e përdor.
Sigurisht, siç thotë edhe Lasswell, në shumë raste këto dy stile gjenden edhe bashkë ose gjenden në masa të ndryshme te një person. Edhe tek ne, si kudo, këto gjenden edhe bashkë te politikanët tanë.
Gjithsesi, është e dukshme se Rama nuk ka qenë njeriu i shpjegimeve me armiq, me konspiracione, njeriu që rrethohet vetëm nga injorantë dhe paafat. Rama, për interesin e tij, të glorifikimit të vetes, ka marrë dhe është këshilluar me njerëz të njohur në vend dhe botë.
Këtë herë ai shkoi te stili paranoidal. Këtë herë ai thotë se populli po proteston për shkak të ndërhyrjes së Iranit, të ndërhyrjes së Greqisë, të propagandës kundër Izraelit etj. Këtyre budallallëqeve ai u shtoi, me tone edhe më të dendura, një armik gjigand që ishte algoritmi.
The algorithm of using or multiplying forums, news, articles and videos on the internet as a result of the enemy's work. And it seems that Rama does not see this simply as a way of reacting to calm the protest or to strengthen his own ranks. He seems to believe it, he cannot help but believe it.
When things go wrong, when failure is complete, bad politicians will definitely resort to paranoid style. Rama also reached that point. In a way, he has even accepted defeat without saying it. /MAPO/
