Sali Berisha has made Albania small over the years he has been in power or in opposition, not grand.
This is due to his declared alliance with the Greek factor, once giving 6 miles of sea to the neighboring country and another time giving Himara (with Beleri), as well as the recent political alliance in the May 11 elections with candidates in the Greek minority parties.
This is what lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu said for Report TV regarding the program that represents Sali Berisha and the DP for the upcoming electoral campaign. He pointed out that with Berisha, if he wins the elections, Albania risks being isolated from most of the planet, because it is "non grata" by Great Britain and the USA.
Spahiu also makes three important observations about the political situation and the Rama-Berisha duo:
"We must be realistic, I will make 3 observations. First, we should not have high expectations for May 11. We would have expectations if there were prime ministerial alternatives. Now we only have 2, Rama and Berisha, one over 20 years and the other over 30 years in politics and power. There are two official candidates for prime minister who have declared themselves or coalitions. There are none from new parties or others. We are not talking about the number of candidates for deputies or parties. Both are tried and tested, they have nothing more to bring. Will they keep the new promises that they have not kept for so many years, I do not know."
As for Albania's entry into the EU, he said that it will happen due to geopolitical factors within 5 years and because Europe has plans.
"Regarding what Mr. Qori (the head of the Bashke movement) said, also about the European passport and the EU, let's tell the Albanians properly, Albania will enter the EU faster because the EU is preparing for war. Possibly within 5 years, there is expected to be a confrontation and war and it will need soldiers. Where will the EU find these soldiers? Mainly through the membership of the Balkan countries, so it will find them mainly in the Balkans. That is why this rapid membership of Albania in the EU is also taking place," he said.
He also took a behind-the-scenes X-ray of Sali Berisha's political calendar, bringing him up to date, regarding alliances and the approach with the Greek factor, within the framework of the electoral slogan to make "Albania Great".
"President Trump talks about defining new borders with Greenland or Panama, he talks about expanding the US. Meanwhile, the DP in Albania and Berisha say they will make a Greater Albania, but they are only making it small. They gave 6 miles to Greece, the DP wants a Small Albania because they will elect a prime minister who is isolated from Great Britain and the USA, who have declared him non grata. There is a risk that half of the planet will not recognize us and we will enter isolation. Berisha has made an alliance with a Greek party. So they offer a small Albania and not a large one, because they promise an alliance with the Greek forces. Just like with Albin Kurti in Kosovo, if he makes an alliance with Radiočić there with the Serbian list, will he make a Greater Kosovo? It would be ridiculous, except that he would declare himself a traitor.
"Do you want Greater Albania, then what do you want with Greek parties, nationality or Greek elements who want Northern Epirus? You have Ardit Bidon in Vlora as the SP candidate, against the Greek elements there who have taken the DP as an ally," concluded lawyer Spahiu.
