Elections within the Democratic Party, Armando Rabi announces his candidacy for chairman of the Gjirokastra branch.

According to the Statute of the Democratic Party, this political force will hold elections within it for forums and leaders from the grassroots to the center, within April of this year.

While all attention is focused on who will challenge Sali Berisha for the presidency of the Democratic Party, the announcement of candidacies for district branch chairmen has also begun. Thus, one of the most active democrats in the Gjirokastra branch, Armando Rabi, through an announcement on the social network, Facebook, was the first to announce his candidacy for the presidency of this branch.

Honorable fellow citizens of Gjirokastra, friends and democratic colleagues,
Today, with full responsibility and pride, I would like to share with you my decision to run for Chairman of the Democratic Party, Gjirokastra Branch.
This is not simply a political decision, but a natural consequence of a commitment of over 14 years as a member of our political family.
During these years, in opposition and in challenges, I have stood by you as a democrat, but also as a journalist, becoming the voice of your concerns every day.
I come from a family with strong democratic and patriotic roots, where for 35 years we have believed in freedom and justice.
For me, the Democratic Party is not just a symbol, but the home where I grew up and where I learned that our strength lies in unity, respect for contributors and openness to different opinions.
I am ready to take on this responsibility to rebuild our branch, believing in meritocracy and the energy of every democracy, from the city to the most remote village.
I want the Gjirokastra Democratic Party to be an open house for everyone, where everyone's voice is heard and where the dignity of every member is respected.
I ask for your trust and support so that we can take this journey together, with courage and with an eye on the future.
