Strong drop in oil prices on the stock exchange! A barrel is sold for 87 dollars from today, in Albania it does not change

International stock markets opened this Wednesday with a stable price of Brent crude oil, at $87 per barrel, marking a sharp drop of more than $9 for several days in a row.

Last week, the price almost reached $100 per barrel again, but since the weekend on international stock exchanges that serve as a reference for the whole world, the decline has been significant.

Brent oil, also known as Brent Blend, London Brent and Brent Petroleum, is the main global price standard for crude oil in Europe and today the stock exchanges opened at $87.10.

A barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil, a benchmark in the United States, also fell by 1.48%, reaching $80.88.

But the sharp drop in prices on the stock exchanges is not being reflected in the Albanian market, where oil and gasoline prices have increased significantly, while the Albanian government decided to dissolve the Transparency Board, leaving the market in the hands of wholesalers.
