Farewell Pietro Genuardi. The actor who became famous with the soap operas "Centovetrine" and "Il Paradiso delle Signore" has died at the age of 62.
The actor announced last year that he was suffering from a serious blood disease.
"I disappeared from the radar. Unfortunately, I am the victim of a serious blood disease that will require a very long period of treatment and will ultimately require a bone marrow transplant. I am going through the second cycle of the chemotherapy protocol, but soon you will not see me on the air anymore," he had declared a year ago.
The news was announced by his wife Linda, son Jacopo, mother Gabriella, and father Pippo.
