Rapper Viktor Palokaj, known by his stage name "Unikatili", has reacted for the first time to the passing of his brother, Mentor Palokaj, who was found dead in an apartment in Pristina.
Through a post on social media, Unikatil paid a heartfelt tribute to his brother, while also expressing his great pain over his loss.
"I wish I had you not only as a brother, but also as my best friend. You loved me more than myself, and I loved you the same way," he wrote, while also publishing several photos with his late brother, including a photo from when they were children.
Unikatil also writes that he was not with his brother in his last moments of life, as he requested that they not notify him.
"Even in the last moments, they told me not to tell you because I was worried I was having an accident and I had to hurry to come to you," says the rapper.
"My one and only, you who were always there for me. You who were not only my brother, but also my best friend. You loved me more than myself, and I loved you the same. Always smiling, positive and fearless. My brave one!!! Even in your last moments you said don't tell me because you were worried about me having an accident, you rushed to come to you. You experienced things that some cannot even in hundreds of lives, and only in dreams. My heart was broken into billions of pieces ????????????!! As reported by Kosovo media, the incident took place in the 'Arbëria' neighborhood in Pristina. Kosovo Police announced that his death was confirmed by the medical team at the scene, but the cause still remains a mystery.
"Today at around 18:00, we received information about a person with no signs of life in an apartment in the Arbëria neighborhood in Pristina. The victim in this case is a male (1983), whose death was confirmed by the medical team at the scene. Police investigators, in coordination with the prosecutor, are taking all appropriate actions that would contribute to the investigation of the incident," Kosovo Police spokesperson Vlora Ahmeti told the media earlier.
