Seven counties with high fire risk, Institute of Geosciences warns municipalities to be careful

The Institute of Geosciences announces that this afternoon and tomorrow a "HIGH" risk level is expected for fires in the districts of Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat and Gjirokastër, while a "MODERATE" risk level is expected in the districts of Shkodër, Dibër, Korçë and Vlora.
A "LOW" risk level is expected in the Kukës region (as shown in the table, respectively for each region). The risk is expected to be higher during the next day.
Regarding the meteorological forecast, locally light rainfall is expected this weekend in the regions of Kukës, Dibër, Tirana, Elbasan, Fier, Berat, Korçë, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, while no rainfall is expected in the other regions (as shown in the table, respectively for each region).
Tomorrow, Sunday, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach on the coast: 23 / 33°C, in lowlands: 22 / 35°C and in mountainous areas: 15 / 31°C. The wind, this afternoon and tomorrow is expected to blow light to moderate.
