The government gives dialysis and check-ups to OSHISH after the concessions end!

The dialysis service in the 5 regional hospitals as well as the check-up service for the general population will be carried out by the Sterilization Services Operator.
Through a special decision, the government has changed the name of this company, which will henceforth be called the Integrated Health Services Operator and will offer, in addition to sterilization services, basic medical check-ups and hemodialysis.
"The Integrated Health Services Operator", JSC, with 100% state capital, is established to provide integrated sterilization services, organize, administer and provide services of the National Basic Medical Control Program, as well as provide hemodialysis services in 5 (five) centers near the hospitals of Shkodër, Lezhë, Vlorë, Elbasan and Korçë," states the decision of the Council of Ministers.
Both of these services, basic medical check-ups and hemodialysis, are currently offered by two concessionaire companies, namely 3P life and Evita.
"OSHISH, sh.a., provides the above services, after the expiration of the relevant concession/public private partnership contracts for basic medical check-ups and for the provision of hemodialysis services," the government decision states.
According to him, the joint-stock company OSHISH, sh.a., is financed by revenues generated from the provision of integrated public sterilization services.
For the provision of health services of the National Basic Medical Check-up Program, as well as the provision of hemodialysis services, OSHISH, sh.a., as a licensed service provider, is financed by the Mandatory Health Care Insurance Fund./ Capital
