Drita wins derby against Gjilan, scores a goal

The reigning champion of Kosovo, Drita, has triumphed in the local derby against Gjilan, with a minimum score of 1:0, within the 26th week in the Albi Mall Super League, now leading alone in the standings. The match played on the synthetic field in Gjilan was decided at the end of the first half, when Veton Tusha scored with a header, in the 44th minute, after an assist from Kristal Abazaj. Immediately after the goal, Gjilan was left with one less player on the field, after Albin Prapashtica was punished with a direct red card for rough interference. With this victory, Drita creates a three-point lead over the closest follower, Balkan, which was defeated by Prishtina in this round. Gjilan, meanwhile, remains in fifth position with 39 points.
Malisheva also achieved an important victory, defeating Llapi 2:0 at the “Liman Gegaj” stadium, returning to success after two consecutive losses. The lead goal was scored by Donart Vitija in the 52nd minute, while Mevlan Zeka sealed the victory in the 69th minute. This victory moves Malisheva to fourth place with 40 points, while Llapi remains in eighth position with 29 points.
Meanwhile, in Klina, Dukagjini and Prishtina e Re shared the points in a 1:1 draw. The visitors took the lead with Ibrahim Kargbo's goal in the 54th minute, but the home team reacted in the second half and equalized through Altin Mërlaku in the 80th minute. Prishtina e Re had a chance to take the lead in the first half, but Tony Gomes missed the penalty in the 14th minute, hitting the crossbar. After this draw, Prishtina e Re remains in last place with 24 points, while Dukagjini is ranked sixth with 34 points.
