Inter are on the verge of a crucial match in the semi-finals of the Italian Cup against Milan, a special derby that comes as a rematch opportunity after the Super Cup defeat to Conceiçao's team.

Coach Simone Inzaghi underlined the importance of this Wednesday's challenge in the press conference, demanding maximum concentration and clarity, as previous matches, according to him, have been decided by episodes.

In this important match, Inter will be without captain Lautaro Martinez and striker Taremi, with an emergency in the offensive department. Thuram could start the match from the first minute, but the situation remains open, while on the bench there will be a player from the Primavera. As for the goal, Inzaghi has not revealed whether Sommer or Martinez will play.

Speaking about Milan, Inzaghi emphasized that despite the opponent's difficult moment, the red and black team remains strong and quality, capable of creating difficulties for any opponent.

He also considers the match as part of a double-header in 180 minutes, requiring a careful and balanced performance.

Regarding Lautaro, the coach confirmed that the plan is for the Argentine to be ready for the match against Parma, but the situation is being assessed day by day. He also confirmed the return of Bastoni and underlined the importance of Frattesi, who could be decisive, despite a slight foot problem.

Finally, Inzaghi expressed pride in the fact that Inter are still in contention in all competitions at this stage of the season, adding that the many challenges require great physical and mental energy. For this reason, he demands from his team maximum commitment and quality play in every match.
