Sealing Bayern's elimination, UEFA punishes Polish referee

Szymon Marciniak was the protagonist in the Champions League semi-final between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, canceling a German goal in stoppage time after blowing the whistle before the ball went into the net.
That episode brought a lot of controversy and countless accusations from the Germans, as it was an episode that sealed their elimination from the Champions League.
However, mistakes are punished and Marciniak will most likely receive a harsh punishment because of that episode.
"Daily Mail" reports that it was programmed for the Pole to be the whistler in the opening match of the European Championship between Germany and Scotland, but after the match in "Satiago Bernabeu" he will not be the one who did justice.
The decision made in the Champions League match may cost Marciniak even more, who most likely may not be included in the European matches at all and will have to watch this summer's matches from home.
